TERMS OF USE

Article 1 – Purchase

1.1 PARIVOIR reserves the right to refuse (part of) orders if PARIVOIR has valid reasons not to enter into an agreement with the consumer. PARIVOIR is entitled to refuse an order (in part) or to attach special conditions to the execution of an order.

1.2 PARIVOIR reserves the right not to accept orders if PARIVOIR suspects that these orders have been placed by distributors and/or resellers.

1.3 By accepting the offer of PARIVOIR, the consumer enters into a payment obligation and a claim arises from PARIVOIR on the consumer.

1.4 PARIVOIR provides invoices only digitally; these can be downloaded easily by the consumer by logging into their customer account/MyPARIVOIR. The consumer can then save them to a durable medium.

1.5 PARIVOIR offers 3 options for purchasing a watch. These are divided into the categories WATCH, TIME, and CHANGE:

1.5.1  WATCH: The traditional way of buying a product. You pay the full amount of the watch in advance in one go.

1.5.2  TIME: With this option, you can obtain a PARIVOIR watch of your choice by paying afterwards or in instalments via Klarna. The watch is yours straight away.

1.5.3  CHANGE: A monthly cancellable rental subscription where the watch remains the property of PARIVOIR. If you rent the same model for 12 consecutive months, the watch becomes yours. Your PARIVOIR CHANGE subscription is continued monthly until canceled and the watch is returned. Make sure to return the watch before the first day of the next rental period.

Cancellation is done through the account created at registration. Upon registration, you also provide a payment method. Payment method means a current, valid, accepted, and named payment method for the respective country on the registration page.

Article 2 – Invoicing and Cancellation

2.1. Rental Fees.

PARIVOIR’s rental fees are deducted monthly via the payment method linked to your account at registration. To view your next payment date or to access previous invoices, log in to our website, go to the “Invoicing and Delivery” section under your account.

2.2. Deduction and Delivery.

PARIVOIR’s rental fees are deducted at the time of ordering the watch and before delivery. The subsequent deduction is always around the 27th of the month, and we ship the watch within 1 working day.

2.3. Payment Method.

To take out a PARIVOIR rental subscription, you must provide a valid payment method. On the “My Account” page, you can view or change your payment methods. For using and linking some payment methods, the provider may charge you certain fees, such as fees for international transactions or other processing fees for your payment method. Local taxes may vary by payment method. For more information, contact the provider of your payment method.

2.4. Cancellation.

You can cancel your CHANGE subscription online at any time through your account that you created during registration. After you cancel, you will still have access to the PARIVOIR account. By reordering a watch through the CHANGE subscription, your account will be reactivated. To cancel, go to your account and then to the “Change Account” section. Here, select the month in which your last deduction will take place. An email confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided during registration. If you have an outstanding payment, it is not possible to cancel the subscription.

2.5. Modification.

We may change our subscription and the price of our service from time to time. However, changes to the price or our subscription will only apply 20 days after notice.

2.6. Data Deletion.

You can exercise your “Right to Access” to get an overview of the personal data we have recorded about you. You can change your data and exercise your “Right to Correction”. Most of the data can be changed online through your account.

Article 3 – General

3.1. Age.

You must be at least eighteen years old or of legal age in your province, region, or country to take out a subscription with PARIVOIR.

3.2. The subscriber who created the PARIVOIR account and whose payment method is used to deduct the rental fees (also referred to as the user) has access to and control over the PARIVOIR account. Additionally, the user is responsible for all activities that occur through the account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide to us regarding your account and for updating it when necessary. We may terminate or temporarily block your account to protect you, PARIVOIR, or our partners against identity theft or other fraudulent activities.

Article 4 – Other

4.1. Applicable law.

These terms of use are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Dutch law. These terms do not limit the mandatory legal consumer protection that may apply to you under applicable law in your country.

4.3. Remaining provisions.

If one or more provisions of these Terms of Use are deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected.

4.4. Changes to the Terms of Use.

PARIVOIR may change these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you at least 20 days before such changes apply to you.

4.5. Electronic communication.

We will only send you information about your account (such as payment authorizations, invoices, password changes, changes to your Payment Method(s), confirmation messages, and notices) in electronic form, such as via email to the email address you provided during your registration.
